KEF Media acquired The Daily Buzz® and brought back the fast-paced, half-hour program that features celebrity interviews and profiles, gossip, and news-you-can-use that integrates paid publicity content covering a wide variety of verticals including consumer, fashion, finance, health, hospitality, sports, travel and many others. The Daily Buzz®, which originally aired for 13 years on CW, re-launched nationally on Pop last June after a two-year hiatus. Original anchors Lance Smith and Kia Malone host The Daily Buzz® with regular appearances by entertainment reporter Scott Carty in Los Angeles and Josh McBride in New York. The Daily Buzz® airs Thursday on Pop TV at 8:30 a.m. Pop is a cable and satellite television network seen in every U.S. market, including the top 25 ADIs. In addition to reviving the show, KEF Media has rebuilt and amplified The Daily Buzz® social media platforms on which client content is placed. Since its re-launch, The Daily Buzz® Facebook page has more than 85,000 fans, with a monthly reach of over 100,000 page views and 1.4 million on Facebook.
Owned by CBS Corporation, Pop is one of the fastest-growing networks on television. Pop has expanded its distribution on traditional cable and over-the-top platforms and drove double-digit growth in viewership among ages 18-49 (+21%) and women 25-54 (+13%), according to Nielsen (Total Day, L+7). Currently seen in 80+ million homes. The Daily Buzz® also airs on Youtoo America (6:00 am ET on Saturdays), Soul of the South and numerous OTT platforms reaching an additional 40+ million homes.
